Lincoln Public Schools District Office

Sinclair Hille Architects designed the $15m Lincoln Public Schools (LPS) District Office Building located on the northwest corner of 59th and ‘O’ streets in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The three-story office building is part of a public-private partnership between LPS and Continuum Partners of Denver, Colorado formed to redevelop a 7-acre site that combines office, commercial and street-level retail space.

The exterior skin of the new 100,000 s.f. office building consists of precast concrete, field-laid brick masonry and stone, architectural metal panels and aluminum glazing systems. Warm, earth tones were selected for the exterior finishes and extend to the streetscape paving and site walls. Innovative day lighting techniques were used to create ample daylight throughout the office space and reduce energy loads from artificial lighting.
