Concordia Walz Human Performance Complex

Sinclair Hille Architects designed the state-of-the-art Walz Human Performance Complex for Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. The project was the fulfillment of a 10-year vision to provide advanced recreation and athletic performance facilities. The primary functional components of the building are organized around a gallery which serves as an events/reception area as well as Athletic Hall of Fame. The facility includes an indoor tennis and 200-meter track multi-purpose fieldhouse, a state-of-the-art performance gymnasium with upper and lower deck seating, and upgraded sports medicine facilities. Ancillary spaces include academic classrooms, upgraded locker facilities, a human performance laboratory, team meeting rooms, and athletic offices. The Walz Complex provides first-class event space and exceptional performance and training facilities for Concordia‚Äôs Athletic Programs.

The design team from Sinclair Hille were sensitive to the unique needs of our business model and incorporated our requests within the overall design of our branch facility, a facility that was built not only for the needs of the bank branch today, but, also, with flexibility for what future demands might be.  We are extremely happy with the end product and appreciate the professionalism and attention to detail of the team from Sinclair Hille Architects.
