West Haymarket

Hobson Place

West Haymarket is part of an eight-block expansion of Lincoln’s popular Historic Haymarket District. Public and private investment are converting over 400 acres of underutilized railroad property on the western edge of the Haymarket District into an active entertainment and living district on the doorstep of the new Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Chief Industries and WRK Real Estate, LLC serve as the prime developer for the West Haymarket Redevelopment project.

Sinclair Hille Architects, in conjunction with Encompass Architects, provided architectural design services for buildings developed by Chief and WRK, which includes over $100 million in private building investment. Specific components designed by the Sinclair Hille team include 100,000 sq. ft. of retail, 100,000 sq. ft. of commercial, 100,000 sq. ft. of residential, and a new hotel/condominium development.

Hobson Place – a seven-story mixed-use building with 111 hotel rooms and 29 luxury condos.

The design team from Sinclair Hille were sensitive to the unique needs of our business model and incorporated our requests within the overall design of our branch facility, a facility that was built not only for the needs of the bank branch today, but, also, with flexibility for what future demands might be.  We are extremely happy with the end product and appreciate the professionalism and attention to detail of the team from Sinclair Hille Architects.
