On Wednesday, February 18, Sinclair Hille Architects was proud to join the Gretna community for the Gretna Community Complex Hoist Beam Signing event, held in front of Gretna City Hall.
Community members gathered throughout the afternoon to take part in this meaningful milestone—signing the hoist beam that will be placed within the elevator shaft, symbolizing the heart of the building and the collective spirit behind its creation. The event offered residents and families the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on a project that represents Gretna’s continued growth and investment in its future.
The event began with remarks from the Mayor, joined by local dignitaries and community leaders, setting the tone for a celebration rooted in connection and shared pride. Families, neighbors, and project partners came together to sign the beam, while younger attendees enjoyed custom coloring sheets created to commemorate the occasion.
