Sinclair Hille Welcomes Ashley Peterson

February 12, 2021

Sinclair Hille Architects is pleased to announce that Ashley Peterson has joined the firm as an Architectural Associate. Ashley achieved her Bachelors of Science in Design, Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019 and completed internships with architectural firms in Dallas and Lincoln during her course of study.

Ashley has a diverse set of skills ranging from pre-design conceptualization to construction document modeling. She has quickly become a valuable team member in the firm and excels in working with clients to develop projects that reflect their vision and values.

While Ashley is adept in a variety of project types, she admits to a special affinity for historic preservation, adaptive re-use, and restoration work. “There is something about resilient architecture that just really ignites my passion for the industry and makes me feel like my work is more intentional and purposeful”.

When asked about her favorite part of the profession, Ashley replied “I truly believe architecture should be used as a method of storytelling. I think it is our duty as people within this profession to leave behind a building that shares a story about the people in which it serves. I think that is why preserving certain buildings within our city's fabric is crucial. We each can learn something about our past and present from the buildings we occupy.”

Ashley also has a compassion for her community and a desire to make the world a better place. “As a prospective architect, I aspire to create spatial designs that elevate justice and promote the healing of humanity. I believe architecture should solve problems that impact the social, political, and economical environment in which it exists”.

Sinclair Hille Architects is excited to welcome Ashley to the firm. Learn more about Ashley on our 'People' page at or reach her via email at
