Lincoln Public Schools District Office

The Lincoln Public Schools District Office Building serves as a centralized home for administrative functions that support one of Nebraska’s largest public school systems. Located at the northwest corner of 59th and O Streets in Lincoln, the three-story, 100,000-square-foot facility brings together staff and resources in a modern, efficient environment designed to support the district’s ongoing mission of serving students, families, and educators.

The project highlights Sinclair Hille’s expertise in public sector office building design and administrative workplace environments in Lincoln, Nebraska, supporting both operational efficiency and community engagement.

The building is a key component of a public-private partnership between Lincoln Public Schools and Continuum Partners, transforming a seven-acre site into a vibrant mixed-use development. The project integrates office space with commercial and street-level retail uses, contributing to the surrounding neighborhood while reinforcing the district’s presence within the community.

As part of a broader mixed-use development strategy, the project also reflects Sinclair Hille’s experience in education and civic-support environments that connect institutional functions with surrounding commercial activity.

Designed with durability and warmth in mind, the approximately 112,000-square-foot facility’s exterior features a combination of precast concrete, brick masonry, stone, architectural metal panels, and aluminum glazing systems. Earth-toned materials extend into the streetscape and site elements, creating a cohesive and welcoming presence. Inside, innovative daylighting strategies fill the workspace with natural light, enhancing occupant comfort while reducing reliance on artificial lighting and improving overall energy performance.

Completed as a $15 million investment, the facility balances long-term performance with a civic presence that reinforces Lincoln Public Schools’ role within the community.
