What inspired you to pursue architecture or design?

I have always enjoyed building, drawing, and creating. Architecture brings those interests together by allowing me to be creative while solving real world problems and designing spaces people truly use.

If you could travel anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?

That is a tough question because there are so many great places. If I had to choose, it would be somewhere in nature, most likely the mountains. I am drawn more to the quiet and perspective that natural settings offer than to the hustle of a busy city.

What’s your favorite part of the design process?

Problem solving. Even though many projects share similar components, each one is unique. I enjoy figuring out how the pieces come together differently every time to create a thoughtful, cohesive design.
