Brian Quade joined Sinclair Hille Architects in 2025 as Operations Manager, where he oversees operational systems and equips teams for success. Known for his strategic thinking, problem-solving, and ability to develop talent, Brian plays a key role in keeping projects efficient and teams collaborative. A graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a B.A. in Music Performance, Brian also serves as Worship Pastor at Connecting Pointe Church, where he leads creative arts teams and mentors volunteers. He brings the same leadership, organization, and creativity from his personal and professional experiences to support the firm’s mission and growth.

What advice would you give to someone starting out in the field?

Focus on learning how great teams work, not just how they design great buildings. Technical skills matter, but curiosity, follow-through, and a willingness to support others will take you much further over time. Pay attention to how teams make decisions, how communication flows, and how they build trust—those fundamentals shape every successful project.

What hobby or activity are you passionate about outside of work?

Music and creative leadership are more than a hobby for me. Serving as a Worship Pastor has taught me a great deal about collaboration, preparation, and leading diverse teams toward a shared goal. Whether working with musicians, technical teams, volunteers, or professional colleagues across different industries—or in service and family life—the principles are the same: listen well, create clarity, and help people do their best work together.

What’s your favorite part of the design process?

Turning complexity into clarity. I enjoy the point in a project where systems, people, and processes come together in a way that supports the design vision and helps teams move forward confidently. When the structure behind the scenes is working well, great design has room to thrive.
