Sinclair Hille Architects is pleased to announce that Chad Kruse, AIA, has been elected Principal by the firm’s Board of Directors.

Chad joined Sinclair Hille Architects in 2014 and became a licensed architect in 2016. He was named Associate Principal in 2021 and now steps into the role of Principal with more than a decade of professional experience and a diverse set of design, documentation, and project management skills.

Chad is currently working on projects with Faith Lutheran in Lincoln, Nebraska; Southeast Community College in Milford; Crete Carrier Corporation in Texas; and the Dormie Network.

Beyond his professional work, Chad is passionate about serving the community through various nonprofit organizations including HopeSpoke and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for HopeSpoke and previously served six years on the AIA Lincoln Section Board, including as President from 2021–2022. He was also instrumental in the creation and continued success of the Big B.A.D. (Build and Design) Birdhouse Project with AIA, which raises awareness about the role architects play in shaping our communities.

Chad also enjoys mentoring young professionals and educating prospective architects through job shadowing and professional development opportunities.
