Canopy Lofts

Canopy Lofts is part of an eight-block expansion of Lincoln’s popular Historic Haymarket District. Public and private investment is converting over 400 acres of underutilized railroad property on the western edge of the Haymarket District into an active entertainment and living district on the doorstep of the new Pinnacle Bank Arena. Traction Development Partners are leading the development expansion which includes a new hotel, retail, office, condos and apartments.

Sinclair Hille Architects, in association with Encompass Architects, provided architectural design services for Canopy Lofts. The Lofts are part of a U-shaped building on the block bordered by R Street on the north, Q Street on the south and Canopy Drive on the east. The six-story mixed-use building includes first-floor retail and 72 units of loft-style apartments for rent on floors two through six. Residents have access to a private rooftop area, community rooms, as well as private, secured parking. The apartments cater to students and include one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units.
